Liaise between Design Teams and Vendors. Responsible for product development, fabric/trim sourcing and development, costing, pricing, production supervision, factory placement and quality control. Conducted inspections and negotiations with all Asian factories for development and production of: Nitro technical Snowboard Outerwear, L1 and L1TA technicalSnowboard Outerwear, Gloves, T’shirt and Sweatshirt lines, Bags, Headwear and Accessories.

Designed 2 Seasons of their men’s core snowboard line - ’05 and ’06. Produced all tech packs for all designs. Redesigned the look and direction of the line; to be more core and responsive with young riders’ fashion trends. Created and designed a new brand logo that was used for 6 years. Sourced new and innovative technical fabrics and trims. Helped to organize placement in alternate Asian production facilities. Oversaw the entire process from design through prototypes reviews to salesman samples. Designed Zieners’ men’s technical snowboard glove line for ’05 and ’06 seasons.

Managed product development and direction for all clothing lines. Directly responsible for brand management, design and direction, sourcing of technical fabrics and trims, costing and pricing.Supervised all production, factory placement, quality control inspections and negotiations with Asian production facilities. Accomplishments:Negotiated the sale of NFA to Option Snowboards in ’98;Option-NFA become Canada’s largest snowboard company;Combined brand sales grew from $7 to $18million per annum in 5 years.Helped transition the company to a publicly traded entity on the Toronto Stock Exchange;Within five years, sales of NFA grew from $2.3 to over $6.6 million per annum;Introduced a complete multi season women’s line which became the largest growth segment of NFA;Expanded distribution to 24 countries; Designed and created innovative styles for NFA that were consistently sold out at the retail level

Created and founded the NFA brand of snowboard outerwear and skate influenced streetwear. Directed all aspects of business management operations. Oversaw sales, marketing and distribution, production, shipping and accounting. Directly involved with brand management and direction, all design work, pricing, costing and sourcing. Before moving production to Asia, produced all patterns, did fabric layouts, cutting and marker development. Accomplishments: Consistently doubled annual sales for five years to $2.3 million; Grew the Company to 12 full time employees with an international network of 12 worldwide distributors; The NFA label became an internationally recognized brand in those countries; Successfully managed the complicated and challenging transition of the clothing manufacturing from Canada to Asia in 1995.
