Part of the Teaching English Language & Literacy (TELL) project, a Malaysian Ministry of Education sponsored training and continuous professional development project to raise the standards of English language teaching in rural primary schools in Malaysia.• Support, mentor and train 120 local English teachers in 30 rural primary schools.• Plan and deliver continuous professional development (CPD) sessions.• Teach demonstration lessons and co-teach with local English teachers.• Develop high quality English language teaching and learning resources.• Participated in co-curricular activities at the schools.• Assist with preparing Year 6 students for the state-level UPSR exam.• Plan and report on progress of the project.• Advise the schools on issues related to English language teaching.• Contributed to developing a KSSR Year 3 Teachers Companion Book.• Promoted to team leader in a different cluster as of 1st July 2013.

• Planned and delivered English lessons to orphans and underprivileged children, aged 4-16, at Osbourne House, Siem Reap• Helped with the day-to-day running of the orphanage
