I am a Civil Construction Professional with over 40 years’ experience in the Civil construction industry. I have been the company Director of MCS Consulting Services Pty Ltd for over 12 years. Over my career I have worked across most civil engineering sectors covering most disciplines. I have worked on many premier projects including; The Moreton Bay Rail Project, Gold Coast Airport Extension, Busways project, Go Between Bridge project, Inner City Bypass, Port of Brisbane Motorway, 2 Greenfield mine projects in NSW and the TNRP Toowoomba Range upgrade. I have been involved in 30+ Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR), Contracts in varied and challenging roles. Over my career I have held various positions such as Project Manager, Construction Manager, Contracts Manager, Superintendents Representative, Civil and Structural Inspection and Verification. I have a working knowledge of the Contract Administration Systems Manual (CAS) and Main Roads Technical Standards (MRTS) and Main Roads Specifications (MRS).I have worked on an array of contract types including; Road Construction Contracts - AS2124/AS4000, Design and Construct - AS 4902 and Collaborative/Partnership/Alliance type contracts. I have a working knowledge of all the requirements of a Project Controls Team such as Planning, Scheduling, Document Control and Financial Reporting. I am an accredited Project Manager and Certified Project Director with accreditation from the AIPM. I am also qualified as B07 and B08 under the DTMR pre-qualification system.I am committed to a team based collaborative approach, sharing knowledge, mentoring younger staff and celebrating the achievements of the team.
