to provide one-to-one specialist support to students with dyslexia, dyspraxia or other Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs)Main duties- To support students to develop learning strategies to assist them in overcoming difficulties encountered as a result of dyslexia, dyspraxia or other specific learning difficulties. This includes coaching in some or all of the following areas:- literacy skills including spelling, grammar, comprehension and reading techniques- computational and mathematical skills- time management skills- study skills techniques; including mind mapping, memory techniques, concentration techniques, note taking techniques, assignment planning, essay writing skills, research method skills, proof reading and revision techniques- To work with students to identify and help overcome specific difficulties- To provide confidential support to disabled students, on a one to one basis in a neutral public space- To make any necessary reasonable adjustments to ensure support is delivered in an accessible manner- To complete and return all relevant Register paperwork for each support relationship in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsible for the transition of case loaded young people into education, training and employment opportunities ensuring outcomes are achieved. Deliver individual and group training sessions in personal development courses, interview skills and pre-employment workshops using a range of methods including mobile technology.Complete and maintain accurate written and electronic individual participant records, action plans, regular progress reports on activities, evaluations and targets as required by funders and the Employability Steering Group.Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders: community partners, service managers, training organisations, assessment teams, schools, Jobs & Benefit offices, Careers Service NI, Department of Employment & Learning, Department of Education, partner organisations in the provision of training schemes.
