UBS work primarily in the retail sector providing building maintenance to clients such as Marks and Spencer, Nike, WH Smith and Lego. Monks provide a 24 hour reactive maintenance service and carry out small works and store refurbishments. My role as Projest Manager and demands that I understand health and safety law and what our clients require from us to remain compliant with their company policy. During my time at Monks I have developed and delivered a system of work to comply with and manage health and safety on construction sites throughout the company’s reactive maintenance client portfolio. Built relationships with client health and safety departments and assisted in delivering a successful health and safety auditing process for reactive tasks. Built and managed a health and safety auditing system for Monks Building Services and addresses issue brought to attention by the auditing system. Designed and rolled out an online RA/MS document for reactive maintenance and planned works. Produced Construction Phase Plans for various projects ranging from escalator replacements to fire alarm installs. Designed, developed and implemented a construction health and safety file to meet the requirement of regulation and client policy.
