The national organization membership from Texas increased over 400%.• Serve as lobbyist for TEPSA and develop members to advocate for legislation that is advantageous to elementary school students and the leaders of public schools - Over 60 trained school leaders make advocacy visits to legislators at the state capitol each legislative session. • Refine the association’s student leadership training, elementary student council training, and increase the number of students and student advisers attending - In 2016, over 2,600 students and 800 advisers attended the training.• Lead the development of a stronger business partnership plan - The number of business partners has grown with an increase in the amount of funding to the organization.• Key member of staff development team, support areas of mentoring and developing staff.• Assist with budget development, expenditure approvals and oversight of revenue and expenses.Support long-term financial development.
