• Develop and train a global team of industry experts, creating career paths in industry • Engage with executives on strategic direction of programs, providing consultative guidance on security posture and driving results that positively impact our bottom line• Design a global framework of risk management across at 20+ sites, ensuring data and personnel are secure• Oversee business continuity & resilience initiatives, with constant measure to ensure the company is prepared for all scenarios• Direct design and architecture of internal tools and systems to provide real time access control data, global metrics, and travel safety management• Implement policies, processes, and standards to ensure employees, vendors, and guests maintain the highest level of security awareness within Rackspace facilities • Manage training and awareness programs that include active shooter training, workplace violence, fire safety, and other miscellaneous emergency situations• Executive sponsor for the employee resource group, “Emergency Conditions Team”; an employee led team that aids in situations related to safety, health, and risk• Responsible for vendor management and selection, building industry relationships and driving higher standards in tools and systems
