Direct day to day hands-on management and successful delivery of production projects for the company. Directly managing from the operational aspects of procurement, materials management, production/manufacturing and service.Specifically ensuring the “on-time”, “to budget”, and “with quality” delivery of Stanelco RF products covering key equipment contracts as well as spare parts. Ensuring the company meets customer expectations whilst also delivering on company strategies and objectives (KPI’s). A key aspect is the management of operational targets, on a monthly, quarterly and annualised basis. Managing and maintaining the company Quality System, acting as the Quality Manager, working with sub-contracted consultant, utilising the existing ISO9001:2015 compliant database and upgrading the system to ensure continued compliance.

• Responsible for managing the Bowls and Trays division of Nature’s Way Food on a daily basis, consisting of 3 salad washing lines, 8 Assembly lines, 4 Section Managers and around 95 operators, both Permanent and Temporary.• Ensuring that the days production plan of around 80,000 units is attained with all daily out loads met and roll plan has been manufactured.• Monitoring product quality to ensure that units produced meet retail customer standards with a Right First Time (RFT) approach.• Liaising with the Technical department about any quality issues on raw materials.• Ensuring that temporary labour is distributed accordingly within the production department to ensure that value for money is obtained and costs are driven down where possible• Ensuring that the production area utilise all materials allocated to jobs with a view of minimising waste and increasing product yield.• Completing daily analysis of lines productivity to identify key areas for improvement.• Measurement of key KPI’s such as Cost, Delivery and Quality are exceeded.• Performing 1-2-1’s and implementing Personal Development Plans for all Section Managers that report directly to the Operations Team Manger• Performing Return to Work interviews • Identifying key training requirements for members of the production team.

. Responsible for managing 10 production lines on a daily basis, including labour distribution.. Ensuring that high, global standards to health and safety are enforced and maintained.. Monitoring product quality to ensure that units produced meet global standards with a Right First Time (RFT) approach. Performing Root Cause Analysis when quality issues arise with a view of ensuring preventative actions are implemented to preventreoccurrence.. Performing 1-2-1's and implementing Personal Development Plans for all employees. Performing Return to Work interviews. Ensuring that production lines meet the required plan rate against OEE targets set.. Ensuring that the lines Cost Efficiency targets are maintained and exceeded, looking for opportunities to reduce labour costs. Using Lean and Six Sigma techniques to drive continuous improvement. Using SAP to ensure that all production work orders are closed with an acceptable Material Usage Variance (MUV). Ensure that production lines are changed over within the required target times and report back any delays.
