Topics were as varied as: fracking, public housing, the rights of domestic workers, the Affordable Care Act, and banking reform. Awards included: the Sappi Ideas that Matter grant (multiple times), the Core 77 Design Award, and the Cooper Hewitt National Design Award, and recognition from our community partners at Brooklyn Defender Services for the quality of my work.• Facilitated hundreds of workshops and talks about affordable housing, zoning, and ULURP for thousands of community members, advocates, and planning professionals in neighborhoods across NYC.• Developed a network of partnerships with community groups working on a wide variety of social justice issues across NYC. Maintained excellent working relationships with sometimes difficult people.• Developed, designed, and produced maps with GIS software that combined HUD income limits and Census data to help research and visualize affordable housing issues in NYC and Chicago.• Managed the update of data and design of an online map-tool which looks at how housing policy affects affordability in NYC.• Published letter on critical urban issues in Harper's Magazine. -
