• Single-handedly researched and wrote a cover-to-cover revision of CUP's What is Affordable Housing? guidebook.• Researched and became fluent in the complex language of development, and put that knowledge to practical use developing CUP projects. This research formed the basis for creating, testing, and producing the interactive educational activities at the heart of CUP's workshops and guidebooks.• Used QGIS and Adobe Illustrator to prepare maps for community-led NYC zoning application.• Taught myself the R programming language and wrote scripts to automate manipulations of Census data.

• Developed award-winning interactive educational workshop-toolkits about land use for community members: the Affordable Housing Toolkit, the Zoning Toolkit, and the ULURP Toolkit (about NYC's land-use review process).• Researched, wrote, and edited two 150+ page illustrated pocket guidebooks on development issues in NYC to accompany our workshop-toolkits: What Is Zoning? and What Is ULURP?.• Managed dozens of projects created by small teams formed with community groups and designers to create award-winning visual explanations of public policy as part of CUP's Making Policy Public program. This work included project management, research, writing, content development, art direction, design, and print production. Topics were as varied as: fracking, public housing, the rights of domestic workers, the Affordable Care Act, and banking reform. Awards included: the Sappi Ideas that Matter grant (multiple times), the Core 77 Design Award, and the Cooper Hewitt National Design Award, and recognition from our community partners at Brooklyn Defender Services for the quality of my work.• Facilitated hundreds of workshops and talks about affordable housing, zoning, and ULURP for thousands of community members, advocates, and planning professionals in neighborhoods across NYC.• Developed a network of partnerships with community groups working on a wide variety of social justice issues across NYC. Maintained excellent working relationships with sometimes difficult people.• Developed, designed, and produced maps with GIS software that combined HUD income limits and Census data to help research and visualize affordable housing issues in NYC and Chicago.• Managed the update of data and design of an online map-tool which looks at how housing policy affects affordability in NYC.• Published letter on critical urban issues in Harper's Magazine.

• Worked one-on-one with Harvard faculty, staff, and graduate students providing technical support in a challenging world-class academic setting.• Wrote and maintained documentation for students, staff, and co-workers that helped them understand how to use Harvard computer systems and processes.• Taught computer resources training workshops for new graduate students.• Individually installed and maintained server operating systems, including Linux, Solaris, Mac, and Windows.• Individually managed school-wide firewall and ACLs.• Worked with University Information Systems to manage network hardware and software.• Provided technical support to Harvard's academic lecturers, architects, and the Presentation Services department.• Individually handled physical layout and installation of server room hardware, rack building, and rack configurations.
