Photo Operations Manager
Responsibilities: Management of a team of 10 professional photographers and a lab technician, with the aim of achieving predetermined revenue targets. Graphic design of all art work related to photographic products offered. Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Darkroom Pro, Corel Draw. Planning of studio portrait sessions, choosing most suitable location to attract most customers, ensuring photographers produce high quality, creative portraits. Daily quality control of additional photography assignments (stock shots, candid shots, special events, weddings, excursions, etc) to ensure photographs are of a consistently high standard. Training of photographers with regards to improving performance. Training includes; exposure, composition, studio lighting, customer service techniques and sales methods etc. Ensuring Lab Technician maintains all equipment. Includes; Konica R2 Super 100, R2 Super 700 and Konica processor, dark Room Pro application and backs up all digital files. Ensuring that all customers developing and printing (35mm/digital) in completed at agreed to times and at highest standards. Portraiture for ships dance company, magicians, senior management head shots etc, to be used for advertising, promotions etc used in marketing collateral. Creating internal advertising for guests onboard the ship in the form of multimedia presentations, television advertisements, flyers etc. Created and maintained team relationships. Directed all activities required to achieve goals.
