In this role I am responsible for development of injection mould tooling from Pilot Tooling Phase to Industrialization Phase Working closely with customers and suppliers, in the support of tooling. I have to during the development process work closely with the Product Development Team and also with quality, validation and purchasing teams. The key responsibilities in this role are to: • Sourcing and specifying multi cavity high precision moulds for demanding technical applications and specifying and developing total moulding solutions to meet the demands of TGE customer base • Successful management and delivery of new tooling projects to agreed project time scale and budgets. • Successful handover of new projects from a pre-production stage to mass production at Tech Group Europe and within predetermined quality and cost guidelines • Ensure suppliers meet customer and Tech Group Europe’s tooling needs • Liaise with customer, supplier and Tech Group personnel during; Tool design  Tool build  Initial toolmaker trials  Tool validation  Production runs  Further tool changes/modifications/upgrades • Develop and implement processes and protocols for off site moulding

In this role I am responsible for managing customers changes through to implementation at West. This role was a new position where I had to develop the change management and implementation process. I had to work closely with all areas of the business including operations, engineering, quality, planning and purchasing. The key responsibilities in this role are to:• Managing of both Internal and External change process for product related changes impacting SKU’s, drawings etc.• Understand and ensure a good knowledge for all aspects of the device assigned. Product description, individual components, assembly method, lot release testing, functionality of device, expectations & limitations of current and future revisions of the device, during the immature phase of a programme, prior to full scale production. • Support the design, tooling, automation, quality and production engineers during any product re-design and or non-conformities and help provide experience and support when required.• Liaise with the customer/equipment suppliers and participate in any future design changes that may impact either the product or the manufacturing process. • Liaise with the internal customers and participate in any future design changes that may impact either the product or the manufacturing process.

In this role I am responsible for the design development and manufacture of Blow mould products primarily for the automotive industry. In this role I work closely with customers to develop their new products for mass production. This encompasses design right through to ramp up for full scale production. The key responsibilities in this role are to:• Project mange the introduction of new products from concept to manufacture• Tool design development and sign off. • Ensure all PPAP elements are carried out and complete• Testing sign off of new products.• Manage documentation such as PFMEA, tool spec sheets, budgets and product trial reports

This involves a range of activities from project management to development and validation. This role involves working with a number of key teams across the business to establish the most efficient methods and processes for delivery. The PAT Leader will ensure consistent, on-time delivery of the Durability & Robustness (D&R) attributes on all products. The key responsibilities of the PAT Leader are to:• Lead the efficient development and delivery of the D&R attribute on new programmes, from target setting through to validation. • Plan, coordinate and report on all activities to deliver the D&R attribute to programme milestones, in close partnership with our system teams. • Ensuring the optimum combination of simulation tools and vehicle testing, develop and validate the D&R attributes across a range of JLR products. • Support the D&R technical lead in generating standards, requirements and setting targets that are driven by customer requirements and failure mode avoidance activities. • Support activities to define the optimal delivery processes for the attribute.

The role has have a level of duality supporting both Vehicle Engineering and Advance Engineering within SVO. I lead the SVO vehicle eng. and engineering teams on programmes in the pre- phase. Focus is on the vehicle engineering development of the halo products, benchmarking activities and working closely with Vehicle Attribute Teams to create targets based around the Statement of Intent Within Advanced Engineering, leading the D8 platform requirements will be the key activities ensuring SVO architecture requirements are capture in the base programme to deliver line fit and accessory products with minimal impact to base vehicle financials.Key Responsibilities:Vehicle Engineering APC -- Working across all platforms:- Lead VE Pre-PS activities for Halo products- Key link between Advanced Engineering & Vehicle Attributes including Statement of Intent co-ordination,target setting and benchmarking..- Co-ordinate RDMV setup Pre-PS.- ES tracker Set-up and ownership up to PS.- T&D Planning confirming vehicles and facilities to support CoC and Attribute DV requirements.- Support Advanced Engineering with ES Tracker Attribute status in all programmes.- Lead System One Pager Attribute Assessment for Halo programmes (SVR, SVX, SVB).Advanced Engineering:- Architecture definition for D8 platform inc Co-ordination of system one pagers.- Lead Core APC team/packaging/CoC's ensuring SVO enablers are captured in the platform .- Ensure the core D8 architecture and systems are specified, agreed and capable of delivering targets.

Special Vehicle Operations - Interior Trim.Role include:The design and development of component parts and sub-systems for both new and model year programme actions from concept through to launch.Liaison with key suppliers, ETO Purchase, Quality, & Vehicle Engineering & Manufacturing.Assist the departmental Group Leader and Team Leader with all aspects of programme activities such as clay feasibility support, product design specification (PDS) generation, failure mode avoidance (FMA) application, bill of materials (BOM) set up, WERS release, design validation planning (DVP) problem solving and engineering sign off.Support the PVT and current vehicle issues and cost reduction activities as required.Promote efficient departmental development actions and process improvements.Interact within the ETO and Core development areas

Mark Twomey joined Ventac in November 2008 as a Manufacturing Engineer. The role of Manufacturing Engineer within the Ventac Group comprises of many different responsibilities. Mark is responsible for the creation of working drawings for production. and working files for the cnc cutters. He is also responsible for costing of new parts, managing changes in raw material price or redesign. He oversees the examination of prototype parts and quality checking of first batch product along with resolution of any quality issues raised by production. He also is responsible for the implementation and documentation of all engineering changes, design of new products and redesign of existing products. He also looks after the noise level testing of industrial vehicles and acoustic lab testing of materials. He provides technical support to all areas of production and consults with customers and suppliers regularly. He also is responsible for documentation of all the Engineering tasks to ISO 9001 standard.The roles above are carried out across a range of projects which include the development of new products for industrial vehicles and buses to the redesign of products to reduce costs.He received his Bachelor of Technology in 2005 at Bolton Street and subsequently his Bachelor of Engineering in 2007.
