In this role I am responsible for development of injection mould tooling from Pilot Tooling Phase to Industrialization Phase Working closely with customers and suppliers, in the support of tooling. In this role I am responsible for managing customers changes through to implementation at West. This role was a new position where I had to develop the change management and implementation process. I had to work closely with all areas of the business including operations, engineering, quality, planning and purchasing. In this role I am responsible for the design development and manufacture of Blow mould products primarily for the automotive industry. In this role I work closely with customers to develop their new products for mass production. This encompasses design right through to ramp up for full scale production. The PAT Leader will ensure consistent, on-time delivery of the Durability & Robustness (D&R) attributes on all products. The key responsibilities of the PAT Leader are to:• Lead the efficient development and delivery of the D&R attribute on new programmes, from target setting through to validation. • Plan, coordinate and report on all activities to deliver the D&R attribute to programme milestones, in close partnership with our system teams. • Ensuring the optimum combination of simulation tools and vehicle testing, develop and validate the D&R attributes across a range of JLR products. • Support the D&R technical lead in generating standards, requirements and setting targets that are driven by customer requirements and failure mode avoidance activities. • Support activities to define the optimal delivery processes for the attribute.

The role has have a level of duality supporting both Vehicle Engineering and Advance Engineering within SVO. I lead the SVO vehicle eng. and engineering teams on programmes in the pre- phase. Mark Twomey joined Ventac in November 2008 as a Manufacturing Engineer. The role of Manufacturing Engineer within the Ventac Group comprises of many different responsibilities. Mark is responsible for the creation of working drawings for production. and working files for the cnc cutters. He is also responsible for costing of new parts, managing changes in raw material price or redesign. He oversees the examination of prototype parts and quality checking of first batch product along with resolution of any quality issues raised by production. He also is responsible for the implementation and documentation of all engineering changes, design of new products and redesign of existing products. He also looks after the noise level testing of industrial vehicles and acoustic lab testing of materials. He provides technical support to all areas of production and consults with customers and suppliers regularly. He also is responsible for documentation of all the Engineering tasks to ISO 9001 standard.The roles above are carried out across a range of projects which include the development of new products for industrial vehicles and buses to the redesign of products to reduce costs.He received his Bachelor of Technology in 2005 at Bolton Street and subsequently his Bachelor of Engineering in 2007.
