In this role I am responsible for managing customers changes through to implementation at West. This role was a new position where I had to develop the change management and implementation process. I had to work closely with all areas of the business including operations, engineering, quality, planning and purchasing. Mark Twomey joined Ventac in November 2008 as a Manufacturing Engineer. The role of Manufacturing Engineer within the Ventac Group comprises of many different responsibilities. Mark is responsible for the creation of working drawings for production. and working files for the cnc cutters. He is also responsible for costing of new parts, managing changes in raw material price or redesign. He oversees the examination of prototype parts and quality checking of first batch product along with resolution of any quality issues raised by production. He also is responsible for the implementation and documentation of all engineering changes, design of new products and redesign of existing products. He also looks after the noise level testing of industrial vehicles and acoustic lab testing of materials. He provides technical support to all areas of production and consults with customers and suppliers regularly.
