At 16 I joined the British Army were I undertook an apprenticeship in Vehicle Mechanics and Engineering.I spent 6 years with the Army working on a wide range of equipment while serving overseas and on operational tours.On leaving the Forces I spent 5 years in the Marine industry overhauling and servicing propulsion engines and generators. I have done a lot of work on Fast ferries working on Ruston RK270 mk1& mk2.I then spent 6 years working in the Landfill Gas industry. My main duties included servicing and overhauling of Gas engines (Jenbacher J320 & Caterpillar 3516) and gas plant components including compressors, gas blowers and flares.I also maintained engine compounds for audits to meet ISO 18000 regulations. I have been trained in various health and safety subjects including Fire warden, First aid, Health and safety at work and Manual handling.In September 2011 I started working for Bay Ferries. Working as part of the night maintenance team on board the T &T Spirit Incat 060 98m fast ferry and the T&T Express Incat 046 96m. Powered by 4xRuston RK270 mk2`s and Cummins N14 auxiliary engines .I am based in Trinidad and Tobago on a month on month off Basis. In February 2014 I was promoted to Night Maintenance Supervisor.I am currently employed by Edina as a Rebuild Engineer overhauling and servicing MWM engines across the UK.
