I have over 25 years of experience in providing tax services to a variety of public and privately held companies. I have assisted with various issues from estate and succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border expansion and corporate and personal tax reduction strategies.I have been fortunate to work in multiple PwC offices in my career. I articled in the Hamilton office and worked my way up to a Senior Manager in the Tax Group. I transferred to Winnipeg in 1997 and was admitted to the partnership in that office. I subsequently transferred back to Ontario to work in the Mississauga office. In 2007 I transferred to the Kitchener-Waterloo office. Working in multiple offices has given me exposure to a variety of clients in a variety of industries. My current client base includes the smallest start ups to the more significant multi-national manufacturing companies. While in the Mississauga office I established the Canadian PwC Pathfinder service to assist foreign companies expanding into the Canadian market. This provides an me with a strong network of PwC Pathfinder contacts in other countries to assist our clients in expanding outside of Canada.
