I act as the primary interface between Corel and our global manufacturing partners for New Product Introduction (NPI) related matters and ensure the successful launch of our packaged products globally including production in North America, Europe and Asia. To Liaise between PM’s, Creative, Business Operations and Manufacturing to facilitate the sharing of information between departments and ensure manufacturing NPI milestones and deliverables are met. I also aid to develop, implement and improve NPI processes.• Collect and facilitate the sharing of information for global product road map and targeted First Customer Ship Dates (FCS)• Negotiate and share global manufacturing Work Back Plans (WBP) used to facilitate product launches• Facilitate meetings to create SKU and BOM requirements including product packaging specifications, language combinations and pricing• Collect sales and shipment data to provide to PM to aid in determining SKU lists for future product releases• Perform packaging exploration exercises to meet PM’s vision both ecstatically and within their given budget• Facilitate and participate in First Article (FA) review and approval to ensure accuracy and that agreed quality standards are met • Gather forecast data from Product Management (PM) and Sales to pass to Operations Team for use in determining initial order quantities (IOQ), Initial Build Quantities (IBQ) and safety stock levels• Issue and/or approve purchase orders (PO) through NetSuite for 3rd Party components required for any other third party items required in product builds (ie, 3D glasses, USB sticks and hardware components for video capture products)• all print buyer responsibilities listed below
