My team was responsible for credentialing and vetting medical providers new to the organization and maintaining a database (really multiple databases) tracking those credentials and keeping them up to date. For around 5,000 medical providers within the system we tracked education, training, licensure, regulatory requirements, etc.Worked with stakeholders from multiple organizations to reconcile 6 systems with overlapping function and content for physician credentialing. A lot of time was spent in reverse engineering deprecated and undocumented toolsets with the help of business subject matter experts. Designed and created an entirely new suite of reports to aid data and business process reconciliation efforts across 6 member hospitals. This work was completed either in SSMS or SSRS depending on requirements and expedience. Met with stakeholders on various projects to design and establish new outbound interfaces to an internal Epic instance and multiple regulatory bodies. Worked directly with medical providers to clarify data issues regarding credentialing, and for insurance and compliance reasons. Worked with office managers to tweak and correctreporting. Met weekly with outside vendors to discuss system issues with licensed software and needed patches, status of new versions, and so on. As a very large client we had a lot of sway with the formulation of our vendors’ development priorities. Reported directly to executive management and facilitated technical discussion between the management of multiple entities in order to reach agreed upon specifications for a future unified system.

Produce ad hoc reports on demand in support of the Sales & Underwriting business areas of Cigna Healthcare. Support of a 15 server software development lab. As a junior analyst, produced several in-house utilities in my own time to automate various server room maintenance tasks for which commercial options were not available at the time. Developed an in-house, web-based dashboard for monitoring server health of the entire development lab at a glance, including drive space, backup status, CPU load, etc.
