As a Drawing Office Manager responsible for the day to day running of a Structural Steel Detailing Company. This included project management, all financial matters, invoicing, budgets, employment, payroll, managing staff and liaising with Architects, Engineers and clients. As a Senior Draughtsman responsible for producing 3D models with connection details together with fabrication, general arrangement and erection drawings, in accordance with the engineers and client’s specifications, design requirements and American and UK standards. Working a variety of projects within a team environment, too very tight work schedules, with contracts from 10 tonne to over 5000 tonnes. Type of jobs includes: Portal Frames, Schools, Hospitals, Office Blocks, Multi Storey Apartments, College Dorm Buildings, Distribution Warehouses, Large Industrial Factories, etc.Cad systems used: • StruCad 2000R through to version V16 • Tekla Structures V17, V19.1 & V21.1

Responsible for leading, providing support and training to a team of four detail draughtsmen, whilst also responsible for producing wire frame / 3D models with connection details together with fabrication and site erection drawings, in accordance with the client’s specifications, design requirements and British Standards and practices. Working on own initiative and work with others when necessary to a very tight work schedules on a variety of contracts from 3 tonnes to 2500 tonnes and over. Type of jobs includes: - Portal frames, Curved buildings, Trusses, Office Building, Retail Units, Shopping, Centers, Platforms, Cinemas, Bookstores and Agricultural Buildings, etc. Cad systems used: - • StruCad 7d through to version 99

Responsible for fitting/assembling products or items to engineering drawings and operator instructions to the client’s specifications. Working on own initiative or within a team environment to tight work schedules. Gaining experience in light machining, problem solving, repairing of damaged products, fault finding, general inspection and testing through to the assembly of the products for both breweries dispensing and electronic equipment.
