My responsibilities incuded but were not restricted to all aspects of life support duties for saturation divers,day to day running and monitoring of the decompression deck chambers and associated life support equipment,ensuring at all times the safety and comfort of divers inside the chambers were met,carrying out "transfer under pressure" operations and actively taking part in safety drills.

Duties included general maintenance of rig decks,crane operations,offloading and backloading supply vessels,assisting in rig moves,anchor handling,cleaning and maintaining drill floor equipment,tripping drill pipe,maintenance of drilling and pump room equipment,supervision of roustabouts when mixing chemicals and assisting in the mud pit and pump rooms,ensuring drilling mud properties were maintained and working both manual and automatic derricks.
