About Mark Webster

I am a structural engineer with broad experience in the design, investigation, and rehabilitation of buildings, with a focus on historic buildings and sustainable structural design. I am currently working on a DOE-funded research project with Northeastern University developing a carbon-negative steel-CLT hybrid floor system. The system will be deconstructable so the components can be reused. I'm also working on the historic Old State House in downtown Boston and providing structural engineering services for residences constructed with compressed straw wall panels. These projects, along with my professional volunteer work, align with my commitment to reduce the climate impacts of building structures.
