My last position was as the Food and Nutrition Director for Bethesda Health at both the East and West Hospitals. I was responsible for 130 staff members and a combined 11 million dollar budget. My primary responsibilities were budget development and execution, staff management, new program implementation and business development. I successfully assisted in the design of the West Hospital and implementation of Room Service for that facility. I implemented Bedside Menu Entry utilizing Hosts for the East Hospital. Before my departure I was working on a move toward Room Service at the East Hospital as well. Catering activities were a large part of my scope of duties where I was able to enhance our catering services to reach nearly $400,000.00 in total sales both internally and externally.
