Directed all technical functions within the facility, including training and development of the staff, equipment maintenance, and product/manufacturing troubleshooting. Supervised eight direct reports.• Managed the technical manufacturing support team of 12 employees in Lutron’s highest volume manufacturing facility during a 2 year ex-expatriate assignment.• Created a preventative maintenance program reducing line downtime by 75%• Responsible for plant expansions and improvements including new compressed air system, manufacturing monitoring system, and redesigned line layout• Introduced and trained facility personnel on 5S and lean production principles
