I supervised the managers of skilled nursing facilities in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana.

After joining Sun in 1993 as president of the skilled nursing subsidiary I was the senior vice president for inpatient services and chief operating officer before becoming the chief executive officer in July of 2000. During my tenure with Sun I managed the assimilation of new aquisitions as the company grew from 31 to more that 300 skilled nursing facilities in the United States, developed an assisted living business in the United States, and acquired more that 100 nursing and rehabilitation facilities in Great Britain and Australia.

I served as President of this new start-up not for profit corporation organized to aquire and construct skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. During my tenure with the company it developed facilities in Washington, Pennysylvania and Deleware and acquired facilities in Washington, Idaho and Deleware.
