Twenty eight years served with Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service now serving with Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service. Initial career spent serving as an operational firefighter and supervisory manager at various locations within Hampshire. Six years dedicated to the delivery of firefighting, road traffic collision and water rescue techniques in the Service Academy.Various operational roles including watch and station command across stations in Hampshire.Many years focused on business continuity and resilience delivery supporting initiatives on behalf of HIWFRS and Local Resilience Forum partners identifying and mitigating risk to the communities of Hampshire and Isle of Wight for the Service. Numerous events and campaigns including widespread flooding, adverse weather, D-Day Memorial, EU Exit and COVID-19 pandemic. Currently working as the Group Manager Emergency Preparedness, Operational Assurance and Fire Control ensuring the Service is prepared for and able to receive emergency calls, respond to identified risk and importantly capture, evaluate, embed and assure learning.I strive for excellence in all I do displaying excellent leadership and communication skills.
