Senior Coatings Inspector as part of the “Site Team” overseeing the blasting/coating works of a N.B. Offshore unmanned transformer platform for North Sea Wind Farm – Client – RWE. Working to offshore NORSOK M-501 Standard for both internal/external and including cranes, generator housings etc.

I left Jotun Paints employment and started my own Ltd Coating inspection company - However I continued to work for Jotun Paints as a contractor carrying out dry-docking worldwide, until I was offered the above long term contracts.

• In 2006 an second "Alliance Partner" was formed between BP Shipping & Jotun Paints Europe. I was promoted to "BP Alliance Manager", in charge of 27 BP tankers which were allocated to Jotun Paints.
• Ensuring all vessels were maintained to to BP’s meticulous standards and specifications
• Creating dry-dock/maintenance specifications
• Carrying out guarantee coating surveys, pre-drydock surveys, cargo/ballast tank and fabric surveys whilst en route
• Supporting superintendents throughout the dry-docking
• Compiling detailed accurate report writing with photographs

Worldwide

Senior marine coating inspector carrying out dry-dockings, new-building, in the UK as well as worldwide locations for both Marine and Protective Coatings (PC). Dry-docked over a 100 vessels with no customer claims.
