It Operations Manager

Working as part of a small close-knit IT Team in a mid-size professional services firm, I got to wear many hats in the role of IT Operations Manager. This included being ‘the face of IT’ to the business, managing the IT service desk and its 5-support staff, and implementing key IT projects. Key achievements included: • Hiring, mentoring, and professional development of the 5 x IT support staff creating a service desk consistently recognised as a high performing team.• Designing and implementing a SaaS document management system (DMS), NetDocuments, to 350 staff. This included the integration with core business systems (3E Elite and InfoTrack), and workflow automation tools (K2).• Successfully delivering and transitioning new technologies into the firm, including an Office 365 migration, Okta SSO and 2FA, Follow-Me national printer deployment, SaaS video conferencing solution (Zoom), and transition of staff to a BYOD mobile phone model.• Designed and delivered numerous IT Training seminars. Examples include the launch of a new DMS, and delivery of a Cybersecurity awareness program.
