I am responsible for supporting campus data and processing needs through strategic alignment of our enterprise applications, campus policies, and process improvements. Additionally, I serve campus as information security officer with responsibility for the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of university data as well as the creation and administration of information security policies and procedures. Through the management and development of an innovative team of 14 full-time staff and 13 students I promote departmental goals of risk management, improved user experience, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment with campus goals and objectives.

Responsible for the management of all services, operations and personnel within Administrative Computing and Networking. The Director provides leadership in support of the University's academic mission through the exercise of administrative and managerial support services offered by IT in the following areas: networking, telecommunications, database services, data security and applications programming. The Director also serves as the University's information security officer.The Director reports to the CIO and works with the Director of Academic Computing, the Director of Learning Technologies, the Manager of Business Operations and Training, and the other IT personnel in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures. The Director works closely with faculty, including the chairs of academic departments, and other unit directors and budget managers on various technological issues impacting the delivery of instructional support services or other administrative-support efforts.In these capacities, the Director is responsible for delivery of essential IT services that directly support instruction, research and institutional management.
