My first job in graphic design. Local newspaper page designer, photographer, paste up... creating and laying out publication pages. Completed camera-ready pages (mechanicals). In the offset lithography process, the mechanicals were photographed with a stat camera to create a same-size film negative for each printing plate required. I would transport the final film to Powell, Wyoming where I would shoot the plate from the film and hand the plate to the pressmen.

After graduation, I moved to Orange County and began working as a temporary employee in Casting and Personal Records. Transferred important documents to and from the Hyatt Regency Alicante (Garden Grove), Disneyland Hotel and Disneyland. Worked as a full time Disney employee in Finance, Entertainment and Marketing (Collaterial Creative/Advertising) divisions. (Place of inspiration to pursue a career in graphic design/advertising.) What an amazing company to work for, especially during most of the first half of Disney's most powerful decade (1989 - 1999).
