PresidentStegall Mechanical 2001 - 2005In this position I was tasked by the ownership venture capital group to turn around a failing organization to get it prepared for eventual sale. As President I was the sole sales professional and succeeded in building customer relationships and transitioning the backlog from a portfolio that was 100% low bid business to a more manageable 50% low bid, 50% negotiated price product mix. We also were able to do detailed costing analysis and implement a new project estimation model that accounted for all direct and variable costs and still allowed for a significant increase in profit margin. Annual sales over the four year period grew from $12 million to $23 million. We also instituted 6 Sigma Site Management techniques that allowed job productivity to increase 17%.
