In this position I was responsible for all publisher facing service operations for the company. I hired and led an outstanding team of Publisher Relations Executives both in Europe and North America. This team was a new division for the company. I directed the reorganization of my other two major divisions, Publisher Services and Title Information, using 6 sigma process control techniques that drove major cost savings and quality gains. I developed all Publisher facing marketing campaigns working closely with an outstanding Marketing Director. I was also tasked with conceiving, designing and directing product development for all new publisher service internet offering, among these were claims filtering, Publinx and RapidRenewal the patent for the last of these bears my name.

In this position I was tasked by the ownership venture capital group to turn around a failing organization to get it prepared for eventual sale. As President I was the sole sales professional and succeeded in building customer relationships and transitioning the backlog from a portfolio that was 100% low bid business to a more manageable 50% low bid, 50% negotiated price product mix. We also were able to do detailed costing analysis and implement a new project estimation model that accounted for all direct and variable costs and still allowed for a significant increase in profit margin. Annual sales over the four year period grew from $12 million to $23 million. We also instituted 6 Sigma Site Management techniques that allowed job productivity to increase 17%.

This was a dual role as I functioned as both General Manager for a region that included Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, North Carolina and Minnesota as well as the CIO for the project outsourcing side of the business. In this role I designed and implemented a statistical sales and recruiter management process that resulted in the highest productivity for Account Managers and Technical Recruiters in the company. By building strong senior level customer relationships our region delivered higher annual sales and stronger gross profit performance than traditional IT regions like New York and Northern California.
