As the Head of Technical Partnerships, I am responsible for devising approaches that enable We Know Data to work with developers in a range of different technologies, to ensure we can deliver the right solutions to our clients. I work with client project stakeholders to identify their business needs and propose technical solutions - from running strategic workshops and roadmap planning sessions, to gathering high-level requirements and putting together comprehensive project proposals.As well as working closely with clients, my role also involves cultivating and strengthening relationships with existing technical partners, devising and defining new product offerings and identifying talented new associates to work with.A key part of my role also involves identifying new sales opportunities and working closely with our primary technology partner, Claris, to ensure we continue to be the foremost bespoke software developers in the UK.I’m part of We Know Data’s leadership team, working with the CEO to help strategise and deliver the future vision of the company.

As Head of Live Development, I am responsible for all aspects of development in a client’s live systems. As the primary point of contact for both developers and client project stakeholders, my role involves all elements of the development cycle - from running client workshops, writing proposals, designing database architecture and gathering technical requirements, to overseeing the development, testing and deployment of the finished enhancements into a live environment.I created an approach to facilitate the process of taking on new clients and supporting their legacy databases as seamlessly as possible. This was vital in enabling us to take on a large number of new clients, when another FileMaker Development company disbanded, leaving their clients needing support for their legacy systems at short notice.To allow our live development provision to continue to grow effectively, I developed our associate programme, where we work with some of the most experienced and talented freelance FileMaker developers in Europe to deliver rapid, business changing enhancements to our clients’ systems. I have also helped to nurture inter-developer communications to create a vibrant, informative and collaborative community comprised of both in-house and external developers.I’m part of We Know Data’s leadership team, working with the CEO to help strategise and deliver the future vision of the company.

I joined a FileMaker Business Alliance Platinum member company and have never looked back. In my initial role, I worked with an outstanding team of developers to design, develop and deploy bespoke database applications for a diverse range of clients, such as Team GB, Rolls Royce and YoungMinds. I harnessed my passion for working on live systems by pioneering and delivering the company’s “development on demand” offering. This involved working on legacy systems, often alongside clients to deliver bespoke on-site enhancements. Clients included Apple, iSmash and Rothschilds. After the initial success of “development on demand”, I documented the methodology, so I was able to train and mentor other developers to deliver the same, unique service. This enabled us to expand the team and support an ever-growing list of clients, which led to “development on demand” quickly becoming a key revenue stream for the business.
