My name is Mark De Souza and I am in a career in Network Engineering. I have experience in rolling-out internal LAN networks across my time of employment.Currently, I have obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) cert and am studying part-time to attain the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) ENCOR. I realize the CCNP is best supplemented with real-world experience, which is yet another reason why I am keen on joining your network design and installation team for Wireless LAN.To date, my work experience has involved me in client/customer management, project engineering, with a flair in L2 Helpdesk operation.Familiar with current tools such as ThousandEyes, LogicMonitor, Cisco Meraki, Cisco. Well versed with Wi-Fi solutions and experienced with using Ekahau and their products such as Ekahau Sidekick and Ekahau Pro for design and verification of Wi-Fi. Experienced with Cusco WLCs models 2500, 5500, and later 9800.I am driven to accomplish my tasks, and am highly coachable, with the hunger to learn new information and skills. I am also detail oriented and will comply with checklists, processes, guidelines, and best practices. In my roles across my employment, I have been able to work autonomously to achieve goals and deliver. I have the motivation and attitude to move forward with the charm of effective communication. My ability and keenness for diagnosis and problem-solving has been instilled even since I attempted solving LAN issues at home, so many years ago, and so many years since.I do have my permanent residency in Australia with full work rights. I am indeed willing to travel and can provide my own vehicular transportation. I am physically sound and have experience being on worksites with their proper decorum. My computer skills in Excel and Word very well honed due to my current and past jobs requires data analysis and scheduling. I have some experience in the IT industry, although at a more localized level, such as smaller companies, and residential setups. My CCNA ensures that I have experience in setting up Cisco Switches and Routers; additional I have my own small lab setup at home where I can tinker and learn.
