Mark is CEO & Co-Founder of STEM Village (www.stemvillage.com), a supplemental education and career guidance solution, created to help equip our youth for careers in the new knowledge economy. The solution uses online education tools to test, educate, guide, and motivate students to improve their skills in critical STEM areas (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and ultimately succeed. Before joining STEM Village in 2014, Mark spent 11 years at TELUS as Director, Strategy & Marketing (7 years) and Director, Client Loyalty & Retention (4 years). Prior to TELUS, Mark was VP, Product Development at Procuron, Canada’s largest B2B marketplace where he was responsible for the operations and technology necessary to manage over $1B annually in traditional and electronic business transactions. Mark also spent three years as a management consultant at A.T. Kearney where he helped large corporations in Canada, the US, and the UK design and execute strategic plans and operational improvements.Mark started his career at Weston Foods (Purchasing) and National Grocers (Corporate Development) where he helped define the initial concept for the President’s Choice brand. Mark holds HBA and MBA degrees from the Richard Ivey School of Business where he also served as full-time faculty for three years.
