Southeast Asia

Adviser for AusAID/DFAT Mekong rural and private sector development initiatives (Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Vietnam). - Developed and grew private sector business partnerships across DFAT's trade and development portfolio - Provided strategic advice and appraisals of delivery strategies, investment concepts and designs to ensure they were evidence based, technically sound, and appropriately addressed sector-specific risk.- Technical support to regional and country-level Australian Aid programs including: $43M Lao Australian Rural Livelihoods Program; $51M Cambodia Agriculture Value Chain I (CAVAC) Program; $25M SHIFT Program, and $10M Mekong Business Initiative- Led and participated in designs, strategy, reviews, and evaluations, such as for Poverty Reduction Fund (Lao PDR), and Trade Development Facility (Lao PDR).- Supported the development of new program designs, such as Investing In Infrastructure (Cambodia), Cambodia Agriculture Value Chain Program II (Cambodia), and Investing in Women (Regional)- Provided quality assurance of program products and engagement with development partners.- Conducted, coordinated and communicated primary and secondary research and analysis.- Served as a key internal Reference Group member for: Global PSD Strategy; Impact Investment Strategy; and Private Sector Development Fund.
