Preside over inspection services for major construction projects such as recently completed $95M expansion of Dallas Water Utilities (DWU) East Side Water Treatment Plant consisting of four 16MG clearwells; 3.3K ft. of underground concrete flumes; and 3.7K ft. of large bore yard piping, 3 slide gate structures, metering vault, drains, electrical duct banks, valves, and appurtenances. Interface between owners/clients, CEI employees, and contractors to ensure full satisfaction and adherence to work specifications. Monitor jobsite construction activities for safety compliance/violations, collaborate with Construction Manager to schedule tasks, prepare daily progress reports, hold weekly meetings, and mentor interns/junior staff members.• Delivered valuable oversight throughout nearly 6-year DWU East Side Water Treatment Plant expansion, securing contract renewal annually based on performance and successful track record, shepherding project to completion with only one reported accident, and maintaining uninterrupted water production during construction process.• Captured contract with Dallas Area Rapid Transit and cultivated relationships with other design firms that brought additional work to CEI with industry-leading clients such as AECOM.• Formulated partnership with Black and Veatch (B&V) to provide inspection services and pursue new construction management projects with DWU.
