About Mark Casey

Mark is based in Amsterdam and focuses on technology-led M&A impacting Dutch corporates, financial investors and emerging growth companies. He is a big fan of rugby, cricket and (red) wine, and enjoys his family time in the Netherlands and in Ireland, and getting to South Africa as much as possible !Mark has a history in M&A, Finance and Risk Management. He has advised on many transactions in the digital consumer domain in financial services, telecoms and in media, both in developed and in emerging markets. He has served, as the Lead Partner, some of the largest names in these sectors including Naspers, MTN, NXP and the Nedcor Group, as well as serving as global advisory partner on Sony and Recruit Holdings in Japan.For 5 years he was the global sector leader of Deloitte's Telecoms, Media & Entertainment and Sports Business, seconded to DTTL New York. During that time, he was also a member of the Deloitte Global TMT Executive. In addition, he was the global executive sponsor for industry learning platforms across DTTL member firms. For several years, he led our Japanese and Chinese services groups out of Africa and has served a 4-year term on the Deloitte board of directors in South Africa.He has worked out of Dublin, London, Johannesburg and now is based in Amsterdam.
