The Alabama Clean Fuels Coalition (ACFC) is a membership based 501c3 non-profit corporation serving the state of Alabama. ACFC is a designated Clean Cities and Communities Coalition by the U. S. Department of Energy. ACFC strives to reduce Alabama's and the nations dependence on foreign petroleum used in the transportation sector by utilizing more domestically produced, and cleaner, alternative fuels (electric, CNG, propane, biofuels, etc.) and advanced technology vehicles. ACFC has been instrumental in increasing the amount of domestically produced alternative fuels used in Alabama to over 96.7 million gallons in thirteen (2009-2022) years. Effectively executing my key responsibilities has led to this continuing increase. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:*identifying opportunities for alternative fuel and vehicle use expansion in Alabama, both in the public and private sectors*Organizing and facilitating over 200 well attended outreach events, both in-person and virtual, including educational workshops, technical and public relations events, to promote alternative fuels and advanced technology vehicles*Developing a very large and segmented database to facilitate effective communication*Developing and updating ACFC's website(s) and distributing educational materials, newsletters to the database, members and stakeholders*Participating in, and fulfilling all requirements of, the U. S. Department of Energy Clean Cities program*Identifying and developing alternative fuel infrastructure projects including contract administration, project publicity and project data management*Researching and responding to inquires from all sectors with timely, factual information*Maintaining a financially stable organization

Principal responsibilities included: Development of both new client relationships and maintenance of existing relationships in architectural, engineering and construction industry. Consistent involvement with key principals in companies. Increased awareness of firm’s services through participation at civic, industry and educational functions.  Identified and developed marketing strategies and support materials designed to capture larger share of market.  Segment, built and maintained existing and new client database to cost effectively target sales and marketing activities.
