Senior Developer / Team Lead with 18 years experience in the IT industry who has spent the last 8 years working on medium to large scale billing and network control systems written in Python for ISPs, Universities, private businesses and government organisations. Prior to that I was engaged in a research project working on scaling out mathematical problems over multiple CPUs on large research cluster systems. This was done using genetic algorithms, artificial neural networks and scaled using libraries such as MPI. My passions include working on new projects and ensuring that they are designed with scalability and tuning in mind and fit within design patterns that suit the project. I'm a team player and love working in a team environment.
