Mark was trained in Engineering at the British Columbia Institute of Technology and worked as an Engineer at a leading medical device manufacturer. In 1999, Mark left that career to dedicate his time and experience to design and develop cutting edge automated equipment. Once the development was complete, his company Disc Go Technologies Inc. was born.Mark was named CEO in 2000 and grew the company to the industry leader in its market. Mark was named one of Vancouver's Top 40 under 40 by Business in Vancouver magazine in 2004. Under his leadership, the company expanded its markets to include Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa. The company was listed in PROFIT magazine's PROFIT 100 Fastest Growing Companies in Canada 2007. The company also received multiple awards from Business in Vancouver and Entrepreneur Magazine.Mark handed the reigns of the company over to the COO in 2009 to explore other interests. In 2011 the company was acquired by a firm from the America and is still in operation today.In 2011, Mark and long-time business partner from Disc-Go-Tech, Ron Haufler created Crackerz Technology Inc. Crackerz is a retail business located in Langley, BC which services the mobile device and computer industry. In 2016, Mark stepped back from running day to day operations of Crackerz. In 2018, his long-time business partner purchased Mark's interest in the company.Mark relocated to the east coast of Canada in 2019 and began working for an emerging automation and engineering company, Area 52. Mark was able to bring his experience and knowledge to Area 52, with a focus on customer service and support. In 2021, as the company continued to quickly grow, Mark took over the role of Customer Service Manager. Mark now leads a team of engineers with the company.
