An expert in iOS app development, proficient in both Swift and Objective-C, with over 8 years of commercial app development experience.I've worked on a huge range of projects including banking apps for ANZ and J.P. Morgan, transport apps for Sydney Opal Travel, sporting event apps for the biggest horse racing events across the UK and movie/tv streaming apps.I take particular pride in my ability to simplify complex problems, and for my keen attention to detail - both visually and technically. I’m driven by building innovative apps that go the extra distance, adding a level of finesse to subconsciously increase the users engagement and level of immersion.As a technical leader in the field I write code adhering to best practices, following clean architecture, making use of MVVM, structuring code for good separation of concerns and composing classes via dependency injection to improve re-usability and unit testability.I've been following an Agile methodology for the past 6 years, currently focusing on a Scrum methodology with great success.I've worked for growing tech startups as a founding employee which saw rapid growth from 3 to over 30 employees as well as established digital agencies with over 100 employees.Prior to app development, I started out as a web developer building ecommerce and high traffic video streaming sites receiving millions of visitors per month.My performance and enthusiasm has provided me with the opportunity to attend WWDC in San Francisco and gain inspiration to build the next generation of apps.
