    After developing the medical marketing division at Meyer Associates to include regional hospitals, general and specialty clinics, and physician recruitment, I started Curtis Group. Dentistry was just beginning the age of marketing elective procedures (not covered by insurance) and I was ready for a new challenge.I'm happy to say that my first client was a national dental lab that was on the cutting edge of cosmetic dentistry at the time. Because of that, I began my dental marketing career by first learning the technical aspects of dentistry and seeing the field from the dentist's point of view. My experiences led Curtis Group to develop only sophisticated corporate-style brands for cosmetic dentists (no dancing molars or names written in toothpaste). In 1993, Curtis Group helped to found, and was a charter member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry: North Central Chapter.In 1994, Curtis Group built the first dental practice website in the USA (Dr. Peter Dawson, Dallas, TX).In 2003, Dr. Howard Farran retained Curtis Group to promote the first Townie meeting at the Flamingo in Las Vegas. In 2012, Curtis Group "adopted" the Christian Dental Society. Every mission trip represents hundreds of children receiving much-needed dental care.In 2019, Mark co-authored and published the book, "Your Child and Sleep Disordered Breathing". This collaborative effort with Dr. Joseph Gaudio, Chester, NJ, was heralded as a "game changer" by the late Dr. Pete Dawson of The Dawson Academy. Curtis Group has since designed a complete marketing and education program for professionals doing the important work of changing children's lives.From the beginning, Curtis Group has continued to submit its clients' branding and marketing campaigns to DesignUSA®'s annual design competition garnering over fifty national First Place Gold Awards to date.
