HarperDB has developed the first database specifically for IIOT (the Industrial Internet of Things). The solution allows clients to collect, process and distribute machine and sensor data directly on the device, on edge gateways and ultimately to the cloud. My role is to work with clients to help harness their IOT data into useful information for decision support and analytics - to help bridge the gap between OT (operational technologies) and IT (information technologies).

I am fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Make4Covid to lead a very fast and nimble supply chain. This is a volunteer organization donating their time, resources and money to bring much needed PPE to hospitals across Colorado. Currently we have enlisted the maker community and local industries to build face shields and after a week of start the team is delivering hundreds per day. As General Manager for the Geospatial Solutions Group, I manage a team of 30 folks dedicated to bringing geospatial technology into mainstream operational use. I led a team that developed a commercial software application called EarthWhere that makes complex geospatial datasets more business relevant.

As founder and CEO of NetBSI, we focused on developing solutions that integrated GIS technology with mainstream applications including document management and sales force automation.

As a senior consultant, I was responsible for implementation and design for Documentum customers. These were primarily Telecommunications customers as the region was developed into a Telecom verticle. I was the first to implement a web based document management solution for Nortel Networks in RTP North Carolina.I later transititioned into a sales engineering role to support pre sales activies for the Telecommunications verticle.
