As VP Marketing - North America for Barnes Distribution, I was responsible for supporting 1,400 sales professionals in the $400 million NA business unit by providing leading edge programs and strategic vision. P&L responsibility for a $50 million business unit that provided sourcing solutions and integrated supply services. Developed a department of high performing professionals responsible for critical aspects of the supply chain from sourcing through to the end customer. Reported to the President, managed 6 direct reports, and a staff of 100 marketing and sourcing professionals spread across 8 North American sites. As VP Marketing - International, I lead the product line rationalization project as an integral part of the integration of four operating units in Europe that served customers in over 30 countries. I also provided advice on the appropriate marketing structure for the combined $150 million European business moving forward. The groups I have managed have demonstrated success providing significant sales revenue growth while also having a profound effect on the profitability of the business.

Responsible for the development and management of all product lines as well as supporting 600 sales professionals throughout North America. Reported to Vice President Sales and Marketing and managed 8 marketing professionals.

Responsible for restaurant facilities in institutional settings including universities, hospitals, turnpikes and the Sunsphere operations at the 1982 World’s Fair in Knoxville, TN. Provided full P&L responsibility and was a tremendous learning ground for managing large multi-shift operations.
