Mark E. Halverson, Chief Operating Officer, DAEMAR Consulting and Enterprise Group LLC (DAEMAR) specialized in satellite engineering and management. Mark holds an Engineering Degree from the University of New Haven and a Masters Degree in Business Administration and has more than 38 years of experience in the satellite field at the technical and management level. Prior to DAEMAR, he worked with spacecraft operator SES Americom (formerly RCA and GE Americom) in the position of Program Manager – where he oversaw many new satellite programs. In this role, he interfaced directly with many national and international customers, spacecraft contractors & subcontractors, launch vehicle providers, insurance brokers and underwriters. Prior to this, he held the position of Manager of the Spacecraft Engineering Group for SES Americom. Before joining Americom, he worked for RCA Astro-Electronics Division (currently Lockheed Martin) managing spacecraft integration and test teams on numerous weather satellite programs serving NASA and NOAA and designing equipment for many spacecraft and interplanetary programs. Throughout his career Mark has managed and coordinated on technical, schedule, launch, on-orbit testing, and related activities such as insurance, ITAR, marketing support, and due diligence studies.
