Mark has director roles at Tower Resources PLC, a London-based, independent oil and gas company with a pan-African regional focus (non-executive director), and EPI Group the global Energy Outsourcing and Advisory specialists (CEO of Geoscience). EPI Geoscience specialises in adding value through innovation in development, appraisal and exploration geoscience delivery through trusted, long term relationships and outsourcing partnerships with its Clients. EPI Geoscience formed from the acquisition by EPI Group of P.D.F. Ltd. in December 2016 and the merger of PDF’s highly successful geoscience group with EPI's global Energy Consultancy expertise to create a larger and increased spectrum development, appraisal and exploration consultancy.Mark is a geoscientist and oil + gas industry entrepreneurial innovator with 30+ years’ proven track record in assisting clients to make significant discoveries, and add reserves through exploration, appraisal, development, new ventures, project/venture management and corporate transactions. His experience of hydrocarbon exploration and development extends across highly diverse geological settings across the globe. He founded PDF in 1994, TerraMod in 1995 and the PDF Fellowship for collaborative research within the oil and gas exploration industry in 2005. The PDF Fellowshipis based at the School of Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Plymouth University. He completed a doctorate in structural geology (extensional tectonics and basin analysis) at the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College, London, UK, has published, given courses and presented broadly on a variety of exploration related topics, especially related to the focused evaluation of exploration projects using systematic play fairway methods, as well as structural geology, structural controls on basin evolution and regional geological studies.
