Founding member of Orange Ventures, the $210m venture capital fund for Orange SA, with offices in London, San Francisco and Boston, that invested $50m in 10 companies (including Netezza, Bitfone, Danger & Bytemobile). - built relationships with top-tier European and US venture capital funds - identified high priority investment areas addressing the key pain points for the mobile industry - conducted comprehensive evaluations of many companies- negotiated and executed investments in Openet Telecom, Bytemobile and Digital Rum- active advisor to the management teams of portfolio companies

- evaluated overseas opportunities and produced new market entry strategies, financial models, business plans and licence bid documents- projects included a Spanish UMTS licence (licence awarded for only $20m), the Morocco 2nd GSM licence and an MVNO in Germany - developed 3rd Generation mobile strategic thinking and built a new business planning model - project managed large cross functional teams during bids and acquisitions
