I am owner and director of FTP Training a coaching consultancy working with the development and transformation of cycling performance. FTP Training is the leading coaching consultancy in Australia with 7 coaches delivering unrivalled coaching and athlete support.I was the High Performance Director for the Team Bridgelane the #1 ranked Australia Continental team for 6 years where I oversaw and coached most of the squad. I was also the HPD for the Motion Merida MTB team in Australia. Over the years I have helped to develop and support riders such as Jack Haig, Chris Hamilton, Ben O'Connor, Nathan Earle, Dylan Sunderland, Ben Dyball, Robbie Hucker and many more in their pursuit as professional cyclists.I was a Co-founder/Director and chief sports scientist of the Australian tech company Today's Plan developing the World leading multi sport training system, analytics and coaching tools. Partnering with some of the best tech minds in Australia the Today's Plan training system, analytics and coaching tools have been developed to help athletes and coaches reach new levels of performance through leading edge software technology.I have a Hons Degree in Sports Science with a major in Exercise Physiology. I have lectured in England and I have taught at The Scotts College Glengarry where I was the PDHPE Coordinator for five years. I have written for nearly all the Australian and UK magazines over the years on training and performance related issues. I have also worked with some of the best athletes in the World and currently look after World Tour riders and D grade athletes alike. Performance is the motivator.I started FTP training in 2008 after realising there was a huge gap in the knowledge base of power based training and it’s analysis to improve performance.
