Imperial Brands have several Data Centres across the Global. Their objective was to move to a public Cloud based solution. My role was been to define and develop the global programme governances and controls, organisational structure, processes, product deliverables across the piece. The role included defining their SAP migration strategy and ensuring the SI (CSC) followed this agreed approach, with the defined framework to deliver the plan.

Global SAP Migration Lead for the largest SAP project in the world.I was Programme Manager at BAT (British American Tobacco), for their Global data migration across 40 countries. As the Global Programme Data Lead, I managed the data migration for 40 end markets (countries) into a single global SAP instance. I was accountable for the migrations end to end, managing the customer (BAT) and Solution Integrator (IBM). This was a global role working within a complex organisational structure, across the biggest global SAP migration projects in the world. The SAP implementation had to occur in 6 months so each of BAT 40 regions had to be ready for the migration to meet the contractual obligations. I introduced the Data Stewardship Platform (DSP from Syniti), which acted as a data cleaning and data quality control platform

At Vodafone I led project recovery as this had failed to deliver project products by the main vendor (info sys) on Vodafone’s Retail platform (Oracle);Project recovery, in delivering changes to complete/fix the outstanding work and restore the business confidence. This included POS role out across all Vodafone stores

Yodel is the largest private delivery firm in the UK; I was the Senior Project Manager, running Yodel Data Centre migration programme. This was Yodel’s 3rd attempt at delivering this change. My role was to oversee and drive the success, ensuring vendors, clients and customers were aligned and able to accommodate the 45 migration sprints events as they occurred. Working as Migration Project Manager, I led the migration of 30 SAP systems from India to UK this was a time critical project with a 6 weeks window. Originally IBM/Tata were supposed to implement the migration. However, upon my assessment the IBM/Tata were unable to complete the migrations within the time frame, so I established a small independent team.I successfully worked my team between the two providers. This intermediate team approach was new to Jaguar, so I carefully managed this approach to ensure a set of successful migrations for each of these SAP systems.I was the SAP Senior Project Manager at Jaguar LandRover, the migration of 30 SAP systems from India to UK, this required managing the server builds and migrations of their SAP systems. Also for the introduction of their SAP change management system Solman 7.1.

At Lloyds i led the implementation of their customer complaints system build Continuum , this application was used across the bank for all customer complaints tracking. Transformation Project Manager Data Centre migrations in France, Germany, Switzerland, involving the decommissioning of their local IT (people and services) and closure of their data centers and the migration of all systems back to the central European data centersI project managed the Global roll out of the network monitoring toolkit used by HP across the whole of the Unilever network in the data global centre,

I was lead PM on the introduction of their accelerated project estimation, which introduced saving of 1.5 million per year. Reducing the project estimation process from 6 weeks to 5 days. This was the introduction of a new service into the architecture team.

I project managed the largest infrastructure project for Unilever Europe (managing the budget of £25 million) to build 63 SAP systems. Project managed the Data Cleaning and Migration team. Included in this I wrote Unilever SAP migration and Cleaning processes, this included writing the software for their Oracle, MDM systems
