I'm a senior leader and director with 20 years experience in the recruitment and staffing sector. From early beginnings as a hands on recruiter I quickly progressed into management of teams and then offices. I've had success in both sales and operational management roles and enjoyed both. In 2018 I fulfilled the lifelong ambition of starting my own recruitment business to serve the growing digital and creative sector in Norwich. More recently I’ve been working with not for profits as a National Training Co-ordinator and before that as a Community Engager/Mobiliser. I enjoy meeting new people and understanding what makes them tick. I have a friendly, empathetic approach to building relationships and I’m skilled at quickly discovering what people are good at and where they will thrive. I have enjoyed managing various teams and approach this by setting a clear vision and objectives but then working collaboratively with others to make decisions about how they are achieved. I love mentoring and developing people and have gained a lot of fulfilment from seeing others achieve their potential, progress their careers and make a difference to the wider world. I’m highly motivated and relish working hard. I’m at my happiest when I have a clear purpose and I’m part of a strong team with shared values. I like achieving and it’s important to me to be able to see the results of my work. I’m an accomplished public speaker and I love using this skill to envision others and move them to action. I'm passionate about organizational purpose and culture, staff engagement and employer brand development and how they drive talent acquisition, retention, productivity and well-being. I love helping organisations understand where they're currently at and how they can move forward. I have always enjoyed providing hiring organisations and job seekers with intelligent, consultative and honest advice.
