•Manage the Cargo Claims staff for Yellow Transportation, Roadway Express and YRC Logistics: Supervised thirty six employees and handled cargo claims for the worldwide organization. •Responsible for negotiating and reviewing all customer specific contracts regarding liability limits.•Provide direction on all litigation matters and ensure customer expectations are being met.

•Responsible for the supervision of sixteen claims examiners; including all personnel matters and confirming adjudication of claims is consistent with Federal Regulations and Company policy. •Hire and train new examiners and evaluate their progress. •Create, implement and update current company procedures. •Daily collaboration with Sales and Upper Management to ensure customer satisfaction.

•Responsible for the adjudication of domestic and international claims within Yellow Transportation. •Consistently achieved one of the lowest payout ratios within the department, while maintaining customer satisfaction.

•Responsible for maintaining current client base and acquiring new customers. •Performing audits on transportation services, checking the validity of charges, and filing overcharge claims with Air, Motor and Rail carriers.
