Westmill Sustainable Energy Trust (WeSET) is an independent charity that promotes the deployment of sustainable energy through arts, education and energy projects, and supports others to deploy sustainable energy through grants and advice, primarily in a 25 mile radius of Westmill Wind Farm.Having volunteered as a guide at Westmill since 2021, I have now taken on the role of a trustee too.

Responsible for web platforms and technologies and managing a small team of elite developers. I'm involved in all stages of a project - from conception, through scoping, testing, build, deployment through to launch and analysis. In addition to management responsibilities and development work, I am also involved in strategic discussions, the organisation's strategy implementation group and involved with sustainability policy. This role has enabled me to grow beyond my programming skills and branch in to other skillsets, such as product management.This role has enabled me to further take forward my skills, moving from the web specifically in to the digital realm as a whole. As a result, the remit of my role now covers development in the digital space entirely, including mobile apps.
