As a co-director of the Salvation Army Junior Music Camp my responsibilities ranged from putting in place a vocal, instrumental, theory, electives and activities directors, working with those directors to ensure these areas were properly planned and executed. We were also responsible for hiring volunteer faculty including cabin leaders for the week. Working with the directors we came up with a theme for the week and lessons/morals that we wanted to instilled in the kids (who range in age from 7-12) during this week long camp. Part of my responsibilities were to ensure that volunteer paper work was completed properly and on time, ensure that the faculty all had up to date police record checks, and corresponding with the Executive Director of the camp.
