About Mark Garner

I have 29 plus years of experience in the operations, maintenance, safety compliance, construction and supervision of various types of upstream natural gas and carbon dioxide processing facilities. The facilities I have experience with utilized amine gas sweetening processes, glycol and mole sieve dehydration processes, cryogenic gas fractionation processes, membrane separation technologies and Ryan Holmes CO2 extraction processes. The equipment used included various types of compressors, pumps, gas/liquid contactor columns and distillation columns. In conjunction with the Facility Engineers and Maintenance Groups I planned, coordinated and executed several facility turnarounds and new equipment commissioning efforts. In my past role as a Health Environmental and Safety (HES) Coordinator/Specialist I developed and delivered HES training to the company and contractor personnel in my areas of responsibility. In my HES role I also became a subject matter expert on OSHA 1910 regulations as well as knowledgeable in the Texas Railroad Commission Rules, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality Air Emission Reporting Regulations and the New Mexico Environment Department Air Emission and Ground Water Rules.I was recently supervising the daily operations, maintenance and construction activities at an 80 MMCFD Gas Plant that also includes a 40MMCFD Mechanical Refrigeration Unit (MRU) and 40,000 BPD crude oil stabilizer and shipping terminal.
